Baby Bella–9 months

This shoot happened last month, but better late than never, right?

Baby Bella is my first repeat baby.  Remember her newborn shoot?  I had a blast with her family and am happy with the results.

The weather ended up being a little breezy and Bella was not impressed with the cold. 



She was much happier once we moved to the studio.

Baby Miles

Baby Miles was almost six weeks old when we did this shoot.  That is definitely not a newborn, when it comes to a photo session.  He was quite alert and awake for most of it, although Mom did manage to get him to sleep for a few shots. 

Thank you to Ashley and Eric for letting me be part of this.  Miles is absolutely adorable!

Baby Noah- six months

Baby Noah is Baby Lenix’s six month old cousin and he was just as cute and cooperative!  I just want to squish his little cheeks!

I had just returned from a trip to Boston and made this little monkey hat on the airplane on the way home.

The trusty Tonka truck works for babies of all sizes!

Daddy is a hunter so Mom wanted to humor him with this little outfit.  So cute!

Baby Lenix-six months

This little guy had just turned six months and shared a photo shoot with his also six month old cousin.  I LOVE his hair; it reminds me of a duckling.  He also has some of the greatest expressions!

This was my first time photography a baby this age and it was so much fun!  I was also trying out my new Canon Speedlight 580X.

For this next one, he thought the crunching leaves was the funniest thing ever!

Lenix’s family is very lucky to have such a cute, happy baby!

The Flake Family

This is my oldest sister, Sabrina, and her husband, Paul.  They have a yours, mine and ours type family that makes up ten kids!  

This session was probably the toughest I’ve done.  We started at about 11:00 am, which means that the sun was pretty much directly over head.  I tried to stay in the shade, but there was still patchy sunlight coming through.  I am pleased with  the results, though.  

Out of the ten kids, seven of them are boys.

Baby Tucker

Baby Tucker, seven weeks old,  belongs to our friends, Andy and Christine.   

(Just a fun note, their two-year-old, Gavin, was born fifteen minutes before my two-year-old, London.)

They live in Texas and we did this impromptu photo shoot while were there visiting my husband’s family a week ago.  We were at Andy’s aunt’s house swimming and Christine was lamenting not getting any newborn photos of Tucker.  I had my camera with me, so we grabbed whatever blankets we could find for a backdrop and found the best of the fading evening light.  I only snapped a few, but I am pleased with them.
